MagMed’s recipe for better winter time health.
As the winter draws in and we spend more time indoors and are exposed to less fresh air and more germs it is very important to maintain a strong immune system so that we can enjoy better health over the winter. We at MagMed over the years have found the following complimentary tools a great help –
- 3x weekly Physiotherm sessions to enhance circulation, get deep warmth into the body and to boost immunity
- Daily Colostrum supplements – an effective and natural method of helping the immune system work more efficiently
- Daily wheatgrass drinks to build the blood and compliment the detoxification effect of the Physiotherm sessions.
- Daily walks in the fresh air, always ensuring you are well wrapped up, especially along the spine, duration of 30mins if possible
- A diet dominated by fresh, seasonal vegetables which are not over cooked, lightly steamed greens and hearty soups in particular when its cold.
By following these simple guidelines we have found ourselves enjoying better health than in years gone by and we think you will too. If you have any questions about any aspects of these suggestions, in particular about infrared therapy and Physiotherm cabins then please do not hesitate to let us know, we are here to help.

Organophosphates, Airlines, Pesticides and IR detox
|
Recent media coverage of engine oil fumes entering airplane cabins and poisoning the cabin crew over extended periods of time was not news to MagMed who, over the past five years, has supplied Physiotherm cabins to members of the airline industry specifically to detoxify these potentially harmful chemicals.
Scientists do not yet understand why infrared therapy is so beneficial for detoxification, however, it is commonly surmised that the fat cells into which these toxins are stored are energised by infrared heat and vibrate at a higher than normal frequency encouraging the release of toxins, which are then effectively sweated out. Although the reason for its effectiveness is not exactly known, the test results of our customers are encouraging -
One pilot’s level of Organophosphates was reduced from 0.27 mg/kg (almost 3 times the maximum recommended level) to Not Detectible in the space of one year (tests undertaken by Biolab tel 0207 636 5959). This result was mirrored by journalist James Fergusson, whose levels of DDT and Lindane pesticide contamination were also reduced by a factor of three after Physiotherm sessions as described in his book “The Vitamin Murders”.
Hopefully in the near future the airline industry will come to its senses and return to filtering cabin air as they used to do in the past.
The symptoms of organophosphate toxicity among others include – fatigue, fuzzy headedness, poor memory and concentration, muscle aches, poor sleep quality, digestive issues. If you are concerned about chemical poisoning yourself it is good to know that with Physiotherm there is potentially a way to remove these harmful chemicals, by enjoying a relaxing IR therapy session three times a week!
The wider population is also at risk from other sources within the environment, our homes and our food. A Spanish study cited in the Telegraph and Woman Magazine last year showed a correlation between pesticide residues in the womb and levels of obesity within children.
“The study, published in the journal ActaPaediatrica ,measured levels of hexachlorobenzane (HCB) in the umbilical cords of 403 children. HCB is a pesticide banned internationally but which continues to remain in the environment and can be found in food. Those with the highest levels of HCB were twice as likely to be obese when they reached the age of six and a half.”
There is little doubt that our increasingly chemical laden world is affecting our health and wellbeing in many subtle ways and until we stop using these toxins it is best to ensure we remove them from our body with regular Physiotherm sessions. So come on, jump in and sweat them out!
