 Center Parcs have recently commissioned another phase of infrared sauna conversions with MagMed within their executive villas at both the Longleat and Sherwood Forest villages. These bespoke solutions are part of an ongoing programme of refurbishments turning a number of their saunas into Physiotherm infrared rooms.
The feedback from Center Parcs clients has been very positive over the past 18 months and MagMed are very proud to be in collaboration with UK’s leading holiday village company bringing the benefits of Physiotherm infrared therapy to their guests.

Following hugely positive feedback from the guests at their Henlow Grange Spa, Champneys the UK’s most leading destination spa brand have ordered a new Physiotherm Ergo Balance III cabin for their flag ship site in Tring.

This top of the line Physiotherm cabin will be used as an integral part of the spa offering, for pre-treatments before massages, a stand alone detox therapy and as part of the sports therapy suite used by leading athletes such as AP McCoy and injured premiership footballers. This suite also has the UK’s only Cryotherapy room which at a very chilly -160C shocks the body into pumping blood to the core and out of the muscles.
The combination of Cryo and IR therapy is recommended by world leading heat therapy specialist Dr Ralf Kleef who states: "The combination of Cryotherapy and Infrared Therapy is in fact a very good medical approach within sports medicine. Cryotherapy poses an extreme stress to the tissue and Infrared radiation helps the tissue to establish a physiologic balance especially following cold therapy. Therefore the combination of the two is meaningful and both methods pose no contraindication to each other but are actually indicated.”
And lastly the field of Infrared saunas has recently been heartily endorsed by Dr Oz on the Oprah Winfrey Show in the USA who focussed upon the ability of far infrared sauna therapy to improve general health and wellbeing as well as an anti-aging tool for modern living. You heard it here first!
