MagMed’s Physiotherm™ Infrared Therapy in Whinfell Aqua Sana

Infrared Therapy warms the body directly with the same type of heat our own bodies produce, this radiant heat warms the body deeply without the need for heating the air (room temperatures are between 30-40C). In particular the blood vessles in the back are warmed and the warmed blood within them is pumped throughout the entire body ensuring that even the deepest muscles, joints, tissues and organs are warmed effectively, from which come the many proven benefits of heat therapy to enduce relaxation and improved circulation. Radisson SAS Stansted

Radisson are a hotel group used to providing only the very best of service and facilities for exacting guests who have come to expect nothing less of them. This policy continued as their on-site spa You Spa invested in the installation of a MagMed IR Space at the Radisson SAS Stansted - providing travellers with ability to relax, revitalise and rejuvenate before and after their journeys and flights. How to stay in shape

Tim Benjamin - aspiring Olympian athlete has told MagMed how the IR Therapy space he uses from MagMed has helped him to stay in shape and train harder with IR helping his body to recuperate, relax and revitalise.

'I think it has helped me avoid serious injury since I've been using it. When in the Physiotherm you sit with your back up against a long infrared heater and that has had a knock-on effect because your nervous system, which is centred in your spine has a big influence on muscle tension and injury. So I believe my lack of serious injury may be a reflection of how well the Physiotherm cabin has worked. I hadn't tried anything like this before I've always been put off by saunas because I don't like feeling that hot. But it isn't the same type of heat in a Physiotherm cabin as you get in a sauna. It's not unbearable at all.'
